An ergonomic workplace set-up helps manage risks which may lead to employee injury and increased costs due to decreased productivity. An ergonomic workplace assessment involves evaluating the individual employee and their attributes - such as their height, weight, movement patterns, injury history, preferences - against their role and determining a setup which minimises injury risk and is comfortable and efficient long-term.
Scared of hiring the wrong person for the job? A pre-employment assessment is an evaluation of an employee’s current functional capacity in relation to the physical demands of their job role. It provides a comprehensive set of data about an employee’s physical strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness to determine their risk of work injury - which we provide to you as a simple score. This information can also educate an employee on their own capacity for work and encourage independent injury prevention.
Preventing workplace injuries and ensuring injured employees experience a seamless transition back to work helps minimise insurance claims and time spent off work. Injury prevention and return to work is facilitated through educating both employers and employees on current best practice and empowering them to make positive changes.
We offer courses and education sessions to businesses and their employees on the prevention of injury and facilitating a safe and productive return to work for injured employees. These sessions include advice on ergonomics, healthy movement patterns and staying healthy at work. Additionally, trained therapists are able to provide injury prevention services to healthy employees tailored to their role at work to maximise their preparedness and minimise risk of injury.
