Our highly trained and compassionate registered Trauma Clinician and School Counsellor provides counselling and psychological intervention to children, adolescents, and youth ages 5-25. She has obtained her Bachelor of Psychology and Masters in Social Health and Counselling from Macquarie University. Victoria is a passionate and dedicated clinician with over 10 years of experience who is committed to empowering children and adolescents to thrive in their mental and emotional well-being. She believes in fostering a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts and feelings.
Victoria has worked in various settings including Refugee trauma, schools, community mental health, NGOs, FACS, and private practice. She utilises several evidence-based practice interventions in her sessions. Victoria has training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Dilectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and extensive training in Trauma-focused therapy. In addition, she has accredited training in several youth programs and has run a large number of groups within schools.
The goal of therapy is to help the young person improve their overall psychological well- being.
